Referee report by E. Forbes on 'On the Morphology of the Cephalous Mollusca, as Illustrated by the Anatomy of Certain Heteropoda and Pteropoda Collected during the Voyage of H.M.S. "Rattlesnake" in 1846-50' by T. H. Huxley

26 Jermyn St. July. 1852 - Gentlemen I return herewith Mr Huxley’s paper on the “Morphology of Mollusca”. It is a memoir of very great interest full of original observations & also of theoretical considerations of great general interest. I believe it will constitute an important step in advance of our knowledge of the section of the animal kingdom to which it is devoted.
