                                I have carefully examined 
the papers of Mr Huxley, on the 
structure of the Salpidae & other 
allied forms, and consider the 

additions which he has made to 
our knowledge of these animals 
as <s>much <\s> very important - His disco-
veries especially on their reproduc-
tion are <s>most <\s> highly interesting in 
their bearing on the most abstruse 
generalizations in animal phy-
siology - I consider the papers 
as <s>[text?]<\s> deserving a place in the 
Philosophical Transactions
