Siblings: Sir Richard Lodge (1855–1936); Eleanor Constance Lodge (1869–1936), both having extinguished academic careers. Spouse: Mary Fanny Alexander Marshall (1851–1929) of Newcastle under Lyme, daughter of Alexander Marshall . who had trained as an artist at the Slade School (1877).
