Refers to the previous version of the paper, which had received favourable reports from [Henry] Woods and [David Meredith Seares] Watson, and unfavourable ones from [Ernest William] MacBride and Woodward. Reports that the rewritten paper has been sent to Watson, who recommends it for publication in the Transactions [Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society], and MacBride, 'who is completely unfavourable'. Asks Woodward for advice on next steps.
