Asks for the paper to be withdrawn. Explains that he had been introduced to Pei by [Grafton] Elliot Smith. States that [David Meredith Seares] Watson would like to see the paper, and asks for it to be sent to him.

[Not published in Royal Society journals, but printed as an occasional paper by the University of London Institute of Archaeology in 1939].
