Does not think that the paper should be published in full in Phil Trans [Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society]. Highlights issues with the conclusions and summary, describing them as 'disappointing'. Suggests that the full paper would be best suited to an entomological journal, but that if shortened it could be published in Proceedings [of the Royal Society].

[Not published in Royal Society journals but likely reworked as article published in Nature, volume 140, pp.112-113, 1937].
