Description

He has been pondering the subject of his correspondence with the Secretary since his last letter. He is 'extremely anxious to avoid coming into any collision with the Council of the Royal Society'. He is the sole expert on the subject and he is the only person who can judge what is new or important'. He is willing to contribute his own money to the printing of the figures in his paper to ensure that they are also published.
