Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Refers to work of von Brunn [?], Eduard Friedrich Wilhelm Pflüger, Heule [?], Marcello Malpighi and Jacobus Sponius of Leyden. The paper is 'too limited in its scope and too unfinished in its execution' for publication in the Philosophical Transactions. Hopes the author will continue research, including comparative and embryological work.
