Description

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Suggests the addition of illustrations of the apparatus. The paper appears to be a continuation of a paper published in the Proceedings. The current paper is however complete in itself, with some reference to th experiments in the earlier paper. The suggested illustrations would complete the paper and make it most suitable for the Philosophical Transactions.
