Encloses report by William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin, which he hopes 'will not...give you much trouble beyond decypherment; if indeed you go so far into Thomson's [William Thomson, Lord Kelvin] as to attempt that. In the absence of the paper itself that are especially edifying'.
