Provides sources and methods of obtaining the information from the Commissioner on Accidents in Mines, to show the observations are authentic. Refers to the Inspectors of Mines, Mr Gadman and Mr J E Wales, the Agent Mr G W Wilkinson, Commissioner Mr W J Lewis, and Senior Inspector of Mines Mr Dickinson. Refers to work of Frederick Augustus Abel.
