Description

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society', suggests instead the Proceedings, considering the 'preliminary nature' of the investigation. The results are not yet of practical value, however the precautions adopted are interesting and valuable. Refers to work of Cavendish [?].
