Description

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The paper 'is in part a reproduction of a paper presented to the Society some time since and subsequently withdrawn'. The map is the most complete one yet presented. The photographs should also be reproduced, at the same scale to aid comparison between them. Suggests reviewing for use of language, to improve clarity. Suggests more explanation of some of the phenomena are required. Refers to Talbot's Bands.
