Finds Robert Bellamy Clifton to be correct as regards the incorrect formula being used in the paper. Cannot remember giving the incorrect formula to the author, thinks it may have been in a letter, but is not sure how far he is responsible. Has communicated the issues with the author. Mentions the poor health of his wife.
