Description

Letter communicating Glaisher's paper to the Royal Society. Cayley states the work was not undertaken on his suggestion and it was him that recommended the author to submit the paper to the Royal Society. He believes 'the Philosophical Transactions would be the proper place for the not very bulky result of an enormous piece good honest work'.
