Letter from Edmund James Mills, on his paper 'On the chemical activity of nitrates' to the Secretary of the Royal Society

Reference number: RR/7/116

Date: 10 December 1871

Description

Second letter about the possibility of publishing his paper. He claims that the referee rejected it mainly on the ground of his 'discussion' section. Asks for the paper to be reconsidered as 'the experiments were numerous, peculiar and of admitted worth' and 'the 'substance of the 'discussion' has already appeared in the Proceedings'. He asks that both be published together.

Subject: Chemistry

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society, 1869].
