Reference number: RR/77/100
Date: 02 September 1952
Description
Paper reference code: A82 and A20
Smithies writes: 'Dear Martin, I am returning herewith Parts I-III of Newns's paper. The revision of Parts I-II seems entirely satisfactory, and I have no further comments to make. I agree with the other referee that Part III should be published in the Transactions under the same cover as Parts I-II, and that the section numbers should run consecutively throughout. I have made a few comments on Part III for the author's benefit, and enclose these on a separate sheet. Yours sincerely, F Smithies'.
Written at St John's College, Cambridge [England].
[Published in Philosophical Transactions A, 1953].
