Letter from Paul Adrien Maurice Dirac, on a paper 'On the stochastic theory of continuous parametric systems and its application to electron cascades' by Homi Jehangir Bhabha to David Brunt
Reference number: RR/72/31
Date: 12 September 1949
Description
He is at the Canadian Mathematical Congress with the author, who has informed him that a referee claimed that the paper was 'trivial'. The method used in the paper is substantially correct. He wasn't aware of the method before reading the paper. Asks the referee to provide and example of when the method has been used before. Asks that the referee contacts him directly and provides an address for Princeton University in the United States.
