Recommended for publication in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, if amended. Finds the paper more suited for the Royal Entomological Society. The paper does not attempt a comparative study, which would have been useful. Refers to work of G C Crampton. Suggests cutting down the list of references to those discussed in the text, and omitting some of the figures. Suggests greater reference be made to cerci.
