Finds the paper more suitable for the Journal of General Microbiology or the Biochemical Journal, where interested workers are most likely to look for such a paper. Publication by the Royal Society may cause delay in the work reaching interested parties. Suggests the paper be sent to Marjory Stephenson, Paul Gordon Fildes and Cyril Norman Hinshelwood.
