Description

Sectional committee: Chemistry

Recommended for publication in Proceedings. The first part of the paper is of considerable interest and contains valuable results. It could be improved by adding a few experimental details. The second part of the paper could be published elsewhere as it doesn't support the conclusions of the first part.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society A, 1948].

Endorsed on recto as received 29 October 1947.
