Description

Enquires about how soon his paper will be set up in type. Is planning on making further observations during the predicted solar eclipse of August 1868 in India, as specified in the appendix. Asks if the appendix could be set in type immediately after the referee's reports have come in, if it is accepted into the Philosophical Transactions, and copes sent to himself and the 'few persons who are likely to engage in the undertaking'.
