Description

Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Refers to work by Alexis Bouvard, John Couch Adams, Letenian [?] and Peter Andreas Hansen. Considers the paper should be printed, but no similar paper has been published by the Royal Society. Suggests instead the Memoirs of the Royal Astronomical Society. Regrets that there is no way of dividing papers between the societies, with 'those of original principle being retained by the Royal Society, and those of detail being stored in the publications of the specific Societies'.
