Reference number: RR/6/224
Date: 19 September 1866
Description
Received the suggestions from John Marshall, and will make the necessary changes once returned from holiday. Has intended to add a short description and specimen references to the figures. The photographs were taken to supply the correct outline, with the details to be added from the specimens by the engraver. Will reconsider the statements and conclusions regarding longitudinal fibres.
