Letter from John Lionel Simonsen, on a paper 'The differential effect of synthetic growth substances and other compounds upon plant species II. Seed germination and early growth responses to some arylcarbamic esters and related compounds' by W G Templeman and W A Sexton to J D Griffith Davies, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society

Reference number: RR/69/281

Date: 01 November 1945

Description

He finds part I of the series to be valuable but he was disappointed with this one. The paper results in the authors promising further work. He consulted with Heilbron who agrees with him. Another opinion should be obtained, which he would welcome as he is 'very loth to turn down the paper'.
