Description

Sectional committee: Physics

Recommended for publication in Proceedings. The results are interesting and important, but the paper itself is 'much too diffuse'. There are lots of unnecessary details and good deal of repetition. The paper should be shortened or details of the apparatus should be published elsewhere.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society A, 1947].
