Letter from H Moore, on a paper 'Fatigue of mineral glass under static and cyclic loading' by C Gurney and S Pearson to J D Griffith Davies, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society

Reference number: RR/69/131

Date: 08 September 1947

Description

He has read the revised paper and believes that it will be of interest to physicists as well as the general scientific community. Publishing it in Proceedings will give the paper more publicity than if it were published in a specialised journal. The editor of the Journal of the Society of Glass Technology will probably wish it to appear in some form in their journal.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society A, 1948].

Endorsed on recto as received 9 September 1947.
