Description

Sectional committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication in Proceedings. He has not been able to read the paper in detail and is unimpressed that it has been requested back after a few days. It is a long paper on a subject that he doesn't know much about. He had warned the Society that they would have to wait for his opinion. He thinks the paper is 'probably rather good' but if they wish for the details to be checked then they should get someone else to do it. They have been 'so impatient'.
