Description

Sectional Committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Refers to work of George Chrystal, who is treated unfairly in the paper. Suggests amending the title and the first paragraph of the paper. 'The paper itself lies in a moderately interesting backwater of mathematics' but deserves publication. Refers to results of Leonhard Euler and James Whitbread Lee Glaisher. Does not like the style, nor the condescending attitide, of the paper.
