No clear opinion regarding publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. Thinks 'there is something in it, thought it is something that could be done much better, more generally, and more elegantly.' Is already familiar with the results from his own work. Refers to work of William Brouncker, 2nd Viscount Brouncker.

Contains extra question - 'Is there any information contained in the paper which likely to be of value to the enemy?' Referee gives no reply.
