Sectional Committee: Engineering

Submits paper for perusal, and communication to the Royal Society if deemed of sufficient merit. If the paper is not of the required standards for the Proceedings, and if deemed worthy of publication, asks that it may be submitted to another journal. 'I regret very much that I have to worry you in these days of troubles when your time must be spent in more useful work'.

Appended summary of experiments in adenine and purine.
