Description

Sectional Committee: Not stated [Physics]

Kathleen Yardley Lonsdale has prepared the attached comment on the papers by Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman [RR/68/122]. The plates are essential for the argument presented. Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman has contacted Max Born, 'asking him to omit any further publication as his observations (i.e. R's) strictly contradicted the thermal theory (of B, presumably)'.
