He encloses the remarks of a referee on the paper. The referee recommends a reduction in length and think the paper may be better off published in the Journal of the Institute of Metals. He wishes to know Bragg's views on this. If the referee's criticisms were met, it could be published by The Royal Society. Egerton thinks the referee may be 'somewhat severe' in his criticisms.
