Description

Sectional committee: [Botany]

The author should be allowed to use his chosen term ('chromosome configuration') without a footnote. There is an overlap between the two terms but as he has no knowledge of cytology there has been vagueness in the use of these terms. This was approved by Topley via telephone on the 24 April 1940.
