Referee's report by Major Greenwood, on a paper 'The association of carcinogenicity and growth-inhibitory power in the polycyclic hydrocarbons and other substances' by A Haddow and A M Robinson

Reference number: RR/67/221

Date: 1939

Description

Sectional committee: Physiology

Recommended for publication in Proceedings. The work is concisely and adequately described. A pathology journal may be willing to print the papers, but he understands that young workers wish to have their papers published by the Society instead, so that they can be introduced to prominent men of science. He could write a letter to Professor Kennaway hinting that the Proceedings isn't a suitable publication for a stream of papers on the same subject.

[Published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, 1939].
