Letter from Charles Galton Darwin on a paper 'A thermodynamical theory of the tensile strength of isotropic bodies' by R Fürth to Alfred Charles Glyn Egerton
Reference number: RR/67/183
Date: 18 October 1940

Description
The paper should be accepted. It is 'rather wild and unorthodox', which he likes. The argument that Nott objects to seems clumsily expressed. It took him two or three attempts before he could see that the author was 'not talking nonsense'. It shouldn't be further tinkered with.
