Alfred Charles Glyn Egerton has asked for this paper to be referred to him, asking whether the paper could be passed as safe for publication, and not giving out information which may be of value to the enemy. The paper has been refereed regarding the mathematics, but it is desirable to know if the applications make it worthy of publication.
