Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. A more complex diagram than the current one was published by one of the authors in an earlier paper. Does not feel competent to comment on the discussion of applications, suggests Nevill Francis Mott is more suitable to give an opinion on this.
