Description

Sectional Committee: Geology

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. The expedition came at great cost, and the observations are necessarily incomplete. Petrographic studies of the volcanic rocks has not been done, but may be completed later by the author or other researchers. Gives suggestions for printing some of the maps on transparent sheets and overlays.
