Description

Sectional Committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London' when amdended. Despite the virological subject, the paper is statistical in nature, on which he is not fully competent to comment. Finds the rest of the work good and new, if not original, but the use of English is poor. Suggests submitting the paper to a statistician. If the statistics is found to be good, the author should amend the composition of the paper, and submit it to a non-virologist non-statistician biologist for an objective opinion. Hopes the paper can eventually be published in the Proceedings. Provides detailed list of suggested amendments and points of clarification, numbering 62 points.
