Sectional Committee: Botany

Recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London', if at all. The paper is sound, but as a study of modifications to existing methods it is not of the type usually published in the Proceedings. The paper is more suited to the Biochemical Journal. The author can justify publication of the methods for discussion purposes prior to publication of the results.
