Description

Sectional Committee: Chemistry

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Suggests shorteneing the paper, and clarifying that some of the investigations have not yet been carried out and 'are so far imaginary only'. The fact that the paper was communicated by Robert Robinson does sway his opinion towards publication. The paper is mostly theoretical and could be abbreviated. If the author does not agree to condensation, the paper should be rejected.
