Suggests letting the author continue his research until he is ready for the paper to be published in the Philosophical Transactions, but the judgement is best left to one who is 'conversant with the subject'. Has let Richard Owen know that George Gabriel Stokes expects the proposal regarding Archeopteryx to come from him direct [RR/5/161 and RR/5/162].
