Description

Apologises for not responding sooner, but has put all matters of mathematics from his mind since his 81st birthday. Does not have a copy of the paper, only the preparatory abstract. Refers to Richard Bethell, 1st Baron Westbury. Concurs with the report of the second referee regarding the two expressions [RR/5/189 or RR/5/190]. 'The paper will require to be altered so as to make the reciprocal equality part of the reasoning'.
