Description

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Considers the paper very similar to his own ['On a new analytical representation of curves in space', Quarterly Mathematical Journal, Vol. 3 & Vol.5]. The author, as a 'geometer' has come at the subject from a different angle, resulting in 'interesting optical applications of the theory'.
