Description

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. On its own the paper is purely descriptive and possibly not suited to publication in the Philosophical Transaction, but as a supplementary paper to that of Oswald Heer ['On the fossil flora of Bovey Tracey', doi:10.1098/rstl.1862.0043 Vol.152 1862, RR/5/98 and RR/5/122] it is indespensible. Suggests publishing the two papers together under one title, with the current paper acting as an introduction to the one by Heer.
