Referee's report by Frederick Frost Blackman, on a paper 'Physics chemical study of zea may seed, embryo snf endosperm (attached and isolated) during the course of germination' by R C Malhota

Reference number: RR/50/42

Date: March 1933

Description

Sectional committee: Botany

Not recommended for publication. The paper doesn't reach a 'sufficiently high level of scientific quality for acceptance by the Royal Society'. Much of the paper is 'padding' and it doesn't make anything of value out of the data collected. The treatment of data 'might have been written just as well fifty years ago'.

[Not published].

Endorsed on verso as received 20 March 1933.
