Not recommended for publication in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society of London'. No conclusions or new thoeries are put forward. The paper should be printed in a journal with a comprehensive index of compounds, such as the Journal of the Chemical Society. If the authors conducted a much wider review and discussion of the literature, it might be more suited for the Royal Society. The Royal Society journals are not the right place for 'snippets of organic chemistry'.
