Referee's report by Edmund Taylor Whittaker, on a paper 'The electrification of two parallel circular discs' by John William Nicholson

Reference number: RR/31/31

Date: May 1924

Description

Sectional Committee: Mathematics

Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Suggests the author be asked to condense the paper a little, as 'his mathematical style is rather luxuriant'. As the paper as it stands would cost £80 to print, suggests the author be told the Society would be willing to print for £50 if it could be reduced sufficiently.

[Published in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A, 1924]
