Recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. 'Mr Henfrey's sketches are exquisitely done and very instrcutive'. Suggests extending the anatomical examination to cover more parts of the plant. Refers to work of Gottfried Reinhold Treviranus.
